Kayeng Yang Update: Kayeng's Uncles Need Help Too

Many of you are following Kayeng’s road from his village in Xieng Khouang, Laos to Bumrungrad in Bangkok and back home.  While our job is not complete with Kayeng, it’s important that his two teenage uncles, Seu and Vaneng are taken care of.  They are 13 and 14 years old.  Their shrapnel-filled bodies need to be addressed.

Namyen Village

Road Less Traveled to Namyen Village

Nong Hed Tai

Nong Hed Tai Village is a Hmong village located  approximately 120 km from Phonsavan in Xieng Khouang Province.   The majority of the villagers settled here after leaving nearby Kengkhouay Village in 1973. 

Dindam Village

Dindam Village is located within a kilometer’s walk on Highway 7 to the Vietnam border.  Highway 7 stretches from Luang Prabang’s Phou District’s Sam Nyek Village at the intersection of Highway 13 and Dindam Village to the east.  Dindam Village homes are built in a valley along Highway 7.  Mountains that provide majestic panoramic views rise from the villagers’ backyards.  Beyond the mountains are plateaus

Lathngorn Village

Lathngorn Village is located in Xieng Khouang Province, home of the Plain of Jars. The village is located on Highway 7, 12 miles west of the provincial capital city Phonsavan en route to Luang Prabang and Vientiane.
